Problem

Your task is to take a 500g mass (1.1 lbs) from rest and move it to a new resting position with a vertical displacement of at least 8 inches higher.

Design Constraints

The applied effort force may only be provided by a single human inputs. The effort force may push, pull, or cause a rotation by wrapping a string around an axle.
The final design must include a minimum of three mechanisms including any of the simple machines: a gear system; a belt and pulley system; and/or a sprocket and chain system.
Mechanical advantage for each simple machine should be greater than one.
