Full-time students who complete their final graduation requirements through MDLP officially graduate from Mesa High School. Since MDLP is a year-round program, students are eligible to graduate any month of the year and do not need to wait until the end of the school year to earn their high school diploma. Students graduating in the spring may participate in the official graduation ceremony held in May on the Mesa High School football field.
Students may request to receive a diploma and graduate with their former classmates at their previous school. Students who wish to do this must seek permission from the AP of Registration at their previous school. They should then contact MDLP with their plans for graduation. This process should be started in February to ensure timely receipt of required documentation.
Congratulations to the following MDLP students who completed their final graduation requirements through MDLP this school year and earned their diploma from either Mesa High or another MPS high school.

For almost 25 years, MDLP's motto has been "Anytime, Anywhere." This typically applies to students having the opportunity to engage in online learning at anytime, from anywhere. However, in this case, the motto applies to the MDLP team members being able to work anytime (almost) from anywhere (a new location).
The MDLP office will move to Alma Learning Center on Tuesday, June 20. Alma Learning Center is located at 1313 West Medina Avenue, Mesa, 85202 (1/2 mile south of Baseline Road and just west of Alma School Road). The new location, which was the former Alma Elementary School, will be home of four unique and individualized programs - Eagleridge Enrichment Program, Mesa Digital Learning Program, Mesa Virtual Campus, and Virtual MA10.
All MDLP team members, including some teachers, will be housed at this site. The MDLP administration and registration teams will be available in-person on a year-round basis to support students and parents with their educational needs. The MDLP programmer and instructional designers will also be available in-person on a year-round basis to ensure the program and courses are engaging, relevant, and personalized. Starting in August, some MDLP teachers will remain as remote adjunct teachers, while others will be full-time remote teachers shared with Mesa Virtual Campus. MDLP counseling services will be provided by a shared counselor.
In order to make this move as seamless as possible, the MDLP offices (both current and new) will be closed on June 20. Registration, enrollment, and final exams will not be available on this date. The office will will reopen at its new location on Wednesday, June 21 at 8:00am.
Students may enroll in MDLP summer courses to address learning deficiencies or for credit advancement. All courses are asynchronous, self-paced with suggested due dates, and require independent learning. All courses are taught by appropriately certified teachers, who answer questions, provide feedback, and support student success throughout the course.
MDLP summer course enrollment is happening now and ends on Thursday, June 29, 2023. Course end dates will be set eighteen weeks from the course start date unless requested otherwise. Students are highly encouraged to complete all summer courses before the first day of school in August.
MDLP summer course tuition is $175 per semester-length course. This tuition rate applies to all MDLP summer courses for MPS and non-MPS students. Tuition may be paid online through MPS web page, by phone by calling MDLP, or in person in the MDLP office.
Students who wish to enroll in multiple summer courses may enroll in them concurrently or consecutively. However, extensive analysis of MDLP summer school data shows that students are most successful when they enroll in only one online summer course and complete it before the start of the regular school year. Students who enroll in multiple courses are most successful when they enroll in one core course and one elective or two elective courses. Concurrent enrollment may not be allowed for some enrollments due to prerequisite requirements.
More information regarding summer courses can be found at MDLP Summer Courses.

Parent tutorial videos and additional resources have been added to the parent page. Login to the parent page and click on the Parent Tutorials and Resources button near the top of the page. Tutorial videos with screenshots and audio are available for navigating the parent page, navigating the portfolio/gradebook, and navigating the course pacing guide. These tutorials were developed by the MDLP registration team as a resource to help parent better support their students in the online setting.
Parents sometimes request a crash course on how to navigate the MDLP interface. While they have access to the student orientation module, which students must complete before accessing their first MDLP course, a quick guide on checking attendance, grades, and progress is often helpful. More information regarding how parents can monitor their students online can be found at Parent How To's.
