Session 2 - YouTube, Google Classroom, Digital Safety

Complete any or all of the following tasks to assess your comfort level and proficiency using the variety of Google related applications. It is recommended to complete the paired assessment (if applicable) after each task. Email gallantd@mcvts.net for issues accessing the information, comments, or questions pertaining to the material.
The time in (parenthesis) is the suggested time in which you should complete the tasks to obtain mastery. It is recommended to complete the tasks several times until you achieve the suggested time allotment. The tasks are separated into 4 major sessions. Each session is roughly 1 hour of material.
YouTube Task 1 of 3 (20 min) (<-- Click the Task)
Objective: Upon completion of this workshop, you will be able to:
Access Youtube
Create a Channel (some may already have a channel)
Work with your YouTube channel to:
Create a playlist, subscribe to content, change the sharing settings, share playlists via email or link.
Google Classroom Task 2 of 3 (20 min)
Objective: Upon completion of this workshop, you will be able to:
Create a new Google Classroom
Work within the Classroom to:
Invite students, create/post assignments, add attachments/docs to assignments, change settings within assignments (such as make copies), and add collaborators to your class.
Digital Safety & Assessment: Task 3 of 3 (5 min)
Objective: Upon completion of this workshop, you will be able to:
Be able to access the Google for Education Digital Safety Course Module.
Understand how to help students maneuver the internet safely.
