Non-reference sources:
Books circulate for a period of four (4) weeks (28 days) and can be renewed if no reserves have been placed on the book(s).
You will be issued an overdue notice and late fees if the material has not been returned on time.
Reference sources:
Most reference sources can circulate for a period of one (1) evening and can not be renewed.
You will be issued an overdue notice if the material has not been returned on time.
Please present your school identification card when checking out materials.
Any lost or damaged materials must be replaced at the expense of the borrower.
General Rules
1. In case of an emergency please follow all posted exit rules.
2. No gum, food or drink is permitted in the library.
3. Be considerate of others who are studying and need quiet.
4. All school library media center materials and equipment are meant to be shared.
5. Clean up after yourself.
6. Take all of your belongings with you when you leave; the library media specialist is not responsible for any lost or stolen materials.
7. Take good care of the school library media center and its resources.
8. When entering the school library media center please sign in/out.
9. If you are not assigned to the school library media center or have lunch you must obtain a pass from your teacher.
10. USE YOUR TIME WISELY!
Technology Rules
1. Students must have a District Acceptable Use Policy form on file to use the computers and Internet. Follow all the District Acceptable Use Policy guidelines when using the computers and the Internet.
2. No downloading from the Internet, chat sites or games are NOT to be used/played on the computers.
3. Do not connect laptops to the network.
4. You are only allowed to print if you are in the library with a class; when printing please print wisely; in other words, print materials in black and white (unless it’s absolutely necessary that you print in color), print double sided and press print only one time, as the print jobs tend to back up.
5. Please recycle; there is a recycle bin in the library media center.
7. Save to your flash or google drive when your work is completed.
8. Log off your computer when you are finished with your work.
