The goal of the Edison Academy Magnet School Media Center is to provide its users with an opportunity to use both print (fiction and non-fiction) and computer resources (databases and the Internet) which support and guide students toward self-respect, self actualization, competence in academic/related and career skills as well as positive participation in the community. The scope of the collection includes diverse points of view on social, political, ethnic, and controversial topics, which will enable its users to gain insight into all issues from all perspectives.

Ms. DaSilva-Caton has been in the teaching profession for 27 years, 17 of them have been as a media specialist.  The media center prides itself on being a space of safety and learning. Come visit soon!
