Graduation and Practice

Ticket Information

• Each graduate will receive 8 tickets to the ceremony.

• Any person who requires a seat will need a ticket. (Lap-sitters under the age of 2 may attend without a ticket.) 

• The school will not be collecting or redistributing extra tickets. 

• Tickets will be available for pick up during the Senior Breakfast on Thursday, May 28.

• Any tickets not picked up at breakfast, can be picked up during graduation rehearsal on Friday, June 5th.

Dress 

1. The graduation cap is worn flat on the head, parallel to the floor. The front point of the cap should be centered on the forehead.

2. The graduation gown should fall midway between the knee and ankle.

3. Men should remove their graduation caps during the school song and the National Anthem.

4. Tassels are usually worn on the right side and shifted to the left when graduates receive their diplomas.

5. Men generally wear dark trousers and dress shirts and ties under their graduation gowns.

6. Women generally wear lightweight dresses or blouses and skirts that do not hang below their graduation gowns. 

Cap Decoration

• Decorations of caps may not be 3D. Your cap must be flat, with nothing hanging off of it

• They may NOT include offensive language, flags, double entendre, inappropriate nicknames, gang-related material, political affiliations, negative or rude language, boyfriend or girlfriend names, references to drugs, alcohol, weapons, or sexual material, threats to the safety of any person, noise makers of any kind
