Here are some added benefits for students in the ASPIRE program in addition to earning dual credit:
Students are grouped together with the same SRT teacher for all four years.
Structured SRT time.
Students are grouped together in Math and English.
Increased emphasis with school-to-home communication.
Belonging to a community within the larger high school.
College field trips and career exploration.
Even if your student is not selected for the program, they have the opportunity to take dual credit classes at Northridge. Students should talk to their School Counselor about dual credit opportunities.
Your student will be notified before Spring Break if he/she was selected for the program. If selected, you will receive an invitation to attend a Family Welcome Night in April.
Your student will be notified via email and regualr mail if he/she is selected for the program. We will communicate any event/meeting dates. We will have our Class of 2028 ASPIRE Welcome Night on Wednesday, April 24th from 6:30 - 8:30 at Northridge High School.
