What is ASPIRE?

ASPIRE, our endorsed Early College Program, is one of several opportunities to earn dual credit at Northridge. A dual credit course is one in which students may earn both high school and college credits. As participants in ASPIRE, students will be able to earn a high school diploma, industry certifications, and college credits through rigorous classes supported by wrap-around services for students who could use it the most. Students will choose a program of study that will focus on Advanced Manufacturing, Health Sciences, or the General Core.  ASPIRE is built for students who might be a first generation college student with substantial financial need. Our program is designed to assist parents and guardians in navigating their child’s educational goals through a technical path or traditional college path.

How does the program work?

The current 8th grade class (2028) is the 4th cohort of students who can become part of ASPIRE. As part of ASPIRE, Northridge High School is fortunate to have the support of Indiana’s Rural Early College Network and funding from a grant to implement this program.
