MUSKIE RETURN TO LEARN PLAN

For the 2021-22 school year, the Muscatine Community School District will return to in-person, traditional learning. The district will continue to follow guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Muscatine County Public Health (MCPH), and the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) regarding COVID-19 safety protocols.

While we are very excited to return to a more normal school environment for the 2021-22 school year, we recognize that we are still operating in a pandemic. Additional precautions remain in place and are summarized in this year’s Return to Learn Plan.

We will continue to work closely with staff, state and local health officials, and the Department of Education. We may need to be flexible as we continue through this school year and make adjustments when/if needed.

Our commitment is to continue to provide the very best learning environment for every student. Please take the time to read the Return to Learn Plan for the 2021-22 school year.

Together in health and education,

Clint Christopher, Superintendent
