We the members of the Olathe High School Honor Society pledge to uphold the high purposes of the organization. We will be true to the principles for which it stands; We will be loyal to our school; and we will maintain and encourage high standards of character, citizenship, leadership, service, and scholarship.
Why should I Apply?
Yes, tutoring is one requirement you must meet to remain a member. You will need to clock 5 hours of tutoring, but tutoring family members does not count.
Each NHS member must complete 10 hours of community service each year, with no more than 5 hours coming from any one source. Note that 40 hours of community service is required for graduation.
We meet the first Thursday of each month at 7:45am to go over upcoming community service options and to ensure that everyone is on track to meet their community service goals.
