Consequences caused by climate change

We all know that climate change is a huge problem. We are creating too much pollution and that's what's causing it. We already know how we are causing it but did you know its consequences? Here are a few details.
Changes like droughts, wildfires and extreme rainfall are happening faster than how the scientists have assessed. In the PICC’s sixth article it said that in 2021 humans have created heat trapping gases that have already warmed by 2 Forfeit ever since 1850 and 1900.
There are many ways climate change can affect us. For example, ice shields are melting and the sea is rising and in some other regions, extreme weather and rainfall have become more common while in other places there are a lot of heat waves and droughts.
These events can affect lots of things like water, energy, transportation, wildlife, agriculture, ecosystems and human health. For example droughts can cause harm on food production and also on human health and flooding can lead to spreading of diseases, death and damage in the ecosystem and infrastructure. Human health can be affected by droughts, flooding and other weather conditions that increase the death rate.
Fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas are the contributors of global climate change so far, for over 75 per cent of the global gas emissions and nearly 90 percent of the carbon dioxide emissions. When greenhouse gas emissions blanket on the earth they trap the sun’s heat and that causes climate change and global warming so now the world is warming up faster than any recorded history warmer temperatures are changing the weather patterns and it is also disrupting the balance that is in nature and this possess a lot of risks to human beings and many forms of life on earth.
When the earth’s temperature rises it can cause disasters like droughts, hurricanes and floods to be even more intense and more unpredictable.
Did you know that the ocean can absorb 93% of the heat that is trapped by greenhouse gases and also 30% of the carbon dioxide emitted by burning fossil fuels? Well temperature sensitive fish are changing their migrating pattern to cooler water to survive, it also sends food webs and important commercial fisheries to disarray.
Also the frequency of marine heat waves have been increasing this has led to the deaths of many plankton and marine mammals. From forests, to savannas, to rainforests, the biomes are not doing better. Climate change is increasing the opportunities of pests, invasive species and pathogen infections in the forest. It's also changing the times for vegetation that thrives in a given region and it's disrupting the life cycles in wildlife which are the compositions of the ecosystems, as well as making them less resilient to the stressors. Even though ecosystems have the capacity to adapt, lots of them are reaching hard limits of natural capacity and more repercussions will follow as temperature rises.
So in conclusion, we need to be careful and not do stuff that leads to climate change. If we all take care of our planet then we will save it from climate change and we’’l be able to keep it clean in the future.
