Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) is designed to provide students the opportunity to gain experience in the agricultural field(s) in which they are interested. Students experience and apply what is learned in the classroom to real-life situations. Students work closely with their agricultural science and business teacher(s), parents, and/or employers to get the most out of their SAE program. This course is to be offered each semester as well as during the summer session. The course may be offered on an independent study basis. A maximum of four credits can be earned in this course, some of which can be earned during summer sessions. Prerequisite: Intro. to Agriculture, Food and Natural Resource or by permission of the teacher
