About Mrs. Menning

Hello! My name is Lena. Menning and I am THRILLED to be the new Library Media Specialist! It’s going to be a fun year full of lots of reading and new adventures! I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us! This is my 10th year teaching in Stover and I love it! I spent four years in First Grade, four years in Kindergarten and one amazing year in Second Grade! Stover is the place to be! My students have become my extended family, and I enjoy being witness to their successes through the education we provide here at MCR1. I have had an incredible journey, and look forward to educating for several years to come!

I am married to Joe Menning and live on a farm with turkeys, cows and our dog, Dodge! We have two of the most adorable, crazy kids! Joey is a Freshman and Lainee is a big 5th grader!! They are SO much fun and keep us on our toes at all times!

In my free time I enjoy reading and spending time with my family! I can be seen at sporting events cheering on our Bulldogs! Music is also a huge part of my life and I enjoy going to concerts of any kind but especially New Kids on the Block!
