Cadets Johnson and Garcia placed 3rd among 22 teams at the 2024 Jaguar Challenge. The Jaguar Challenge tested the physical limits and endurance of participating cadets as they rotated through 14 unique stations. These cadets demonstrated true grit and the ultimate teamwork conquering each challenge!
The Warrior Battalion enjoyed an orientation trip to the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Donald Cook (DDG 75). The USS Donald Cook visited the Port of Mobile as part of the city's Mardi Gras celebration.
C/CDR Christopher Williams was honored at the annual JROTC Recognition Luncheon sponsored by the Midtown Optimist Club.
LtCol Mitchell (USMC -ret), President of the Mobile Chapter Montford Point Marine Association, and MGySgt House (USMC - ret), Vice President of the Mobile Chapter Montford Point Marine Association, visited the Warrior Battalion on 28 Feb 2024. The Montford Point Marines were the first African Americans to enlist in the USMC.

Cadet Robert Porter paid a visit to the Warrior Battalion on Monday, 27 Nov 2023. Cadet Porter is a 2021 DHS graduate and currently enrolled as a member of the Class of 2026 at the United States Military Academy - West Point.
On Friday, 17 Nov 2023, 42 cadets from the Warrior Battalion spent the school day at Fonde ES teaching K-3 students. Curriculum included Ourselves, Our Families, Our Community, and Our City. The Warrior Battalion air rifle team competed in the 2023 Secretary of the Navy Air Rifle postal competition.
Cadets from the Warrior Battalion commemorated the courage, resilience, and dedication of the Montford Point Marines on Saturday, 11 Nov 2023, at the Montford Point Marine Corps Ball and Congressional Gold Medal Award. The Montford Point Marines are the first African Americans to serve in the United States Marine Corps during WWII.
Warrior Pride was on display at the 2023 Veterans Day Parade. The parade is hosted by the Mobile Bay Area Veterans Day Commission.

The Warrior Battalion participate in the annual MCPSS JROTC sponsored drone workshop held at Blount H.S. The team finished 3rd in the inauural competion for the 2023 - 2024 season.
Developed in 2015 through the collaboration of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Mobile Police, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Alabama, and a team of community leaders, it's the first-ever youth program to be implemented by all 56 FBI field division offices. Students learn how to use the Mutual Respect Guidelines for Citizens and Police Officers in various life situations.
