ALL SSL FORMS ARE SUBMITTED BY THE STUDENT THROUGH THE SSL CLASS ON YOUR CANVAS DASHBOARD. FOLLOW THE SUBMISSION DIRECTIONS....NO PHOTOS
You should have received an email to join the 2024-2025 SSL Canvas Class. If you did not receive an invitation you should email Mr. Thompson using your MCPS account so you may be added.
If you are beginning a new volunteer service make sure it is approved before you begin. Go to the Wootton SSL Class on your Canvas Dashboard and search for the organization. If they do not appear you must complete and submit the SSL Organization Pre Approval Form at least 2 weeks before you begin. The organization will be researched to see if it complies with SSL standards. You will receive a reply from Canvas.
Organizations must be registered non-profits and not religion specific. It may be a religious organization, but the specific service must benefit the larger community.
