MC Hours: 8:00A -3:10P on most school days, unless there is an adjusted or abbreviated school schedule.

The media center is open at the following times on regular school days:

• 8:00 AM - 8:15 AM before school

• during STAR 

• All lunch periods 

• To all students with a written pass during the school day

•  After the final bell from 3:00 PM - 3:10 PM.

Media Center Goals:

The media specialist and library staff work to build and maintain an organized, comprehensive collection that supports the common core curriculum and provides a variety of options for pleasure reading. The school library program educates students, staff, and the community about the key literacy skills needed to understand, and navigate various types of media. The library media program strives to deliver:

 - support to students as they learn digital citizenship, information literacy and research skills

 - an instructional partner that is trained to collaborate with teachers to integrate  high quality resources (books and other media) into lessons

 - a media center that has a diverse and current collection available to students, parents, staff and teachers
