Knight Time, a program that supports ELL students in levels 1-4, will begin on October 6. It will take place after school Monday-Thursday from 2:30 until 4:30 at the Wellness Center.

Are you funny?! Interested in creating and building your humorous debut? Join the Improv and Comedy Club on Tuesday, October 6th for an interest meeting in room 3414 at 12:15 pm. We can't wait to meet you!

Want Free Clothes? Come to 3207 during lunch EVERY Wednesday to shop our FREE clothing closet. Do you have gently used clothes at home? Donate them in the marked bins in the main office anytime. Do you want to help maintain the closet? Join us during lunch on Thursdays in 3207! 

Students who want time and help with homework, or students who want to tutor other students and earn SSL hours, can come to the media center after school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 2:30-4:15. 

Every day. Every class. Every knight. This year, Wheaton HS has already made huge gains in our attendance!! At the end of last year, our chronic absenteeism rate was over 30%. Now we're at 20%. We are currently 17th place among 27 schools/groups in the county for absenteeism. Keep showing up ON TIME every day, Knights! Over the last weekend, families were contacted for students with improved attendance this year. We will be recognizing those students, along with those with perfect attendance, over the next few weeks with some awesome raffle prizes. Remember, if you are unexcused from class, teachers do not have to grade your work! We should be in class every day!

Attend Wheaton High School's International Club meeting THIS WEDNESDAY and learn how to run for the club's officer positions. 9th-11th grade Knights, the Carson Scholars Program is now open to receive nominations. You must be nominated by your teacher, counselor or principal. This $1000 scholarship recognizes students who are excel in leadership and community service. The nomination deadline is December 19. Juniors and Seniors!  College Fair USA will be held on Friday, October 9, in Gaithersburg, MD!  The due date to turn in permission slips has already passed. 

Seniors! FAFSA is officially open!  Please check your email later this week for information about upcoming in-person and virtual FAFSA workshops. These workshops will help you with completing your FAFSA. If you have questions, stop by room 1003.
