Every year the music department puts on multiple events and opportunities for students and the community to engage with us. Come join us for one or all of the events.
Fall Folk Dance Night
Late October is the time for barn dances, and we want to invite our second and third grade families to one as well. We will have a night of movement and cooperative dancing as we learn about folk dances in various forms: circles, double circles, and longways sets. Come out with one adult per student and have a ball (pun intended) generating lifelong memories.
March Informances
Every March our kindergarten and grade one classes open up to parents during their regularly schedule music class for one week only! Come and see your child as they learn about playing instruments, reading music icons and standard notation, dances, and more. We love to see parents in this intimate and meaningful learning environment.
Spring Concerts
They say April showers bring May flowers, but at Woodlin Elementary April rehearsals bring May concerts! Join us for our yearly chorus and instrumental concerts. We cannot wait to showcase all that your student have learned over the course of one year of singing and playing.
