What is Poms?
The purpose of our extra-curricular organization is to promote school spirit and uphold the standards of Churchill High School. Poms is a two season varsity level sport beginning in the fall and concluding at the end of winter season. As a member of this team, you can show your Bulldog Pride through performances, competitions, and community events. This can be a truly rewarding experience. This organization requires your earnest effort and sincere dedication.
WHY YOU SHOULD CHOOSE POMS
WCHS Poms work together to promote and uphold school spirit. Team members represent Winston Churchill High School to the highest degree. Each member must set an example of good behavior at all times (whether in uniform or not) in class, at games, and at all school functions, whether performing or not. Team members are represeting Winston Churchill High School 100% of the time.
Additionally, Poms work together to promote friendship between all levels of other school teams (cheerleading, band, field hockey, soccer, etc.). They work together to promote friendships with schools which we compete and perform with. Lastly, team members work together to promote friendships between members of the squad.
