Bulldog Spirit Squad
WCHS Poms and WCHS Varsity Cheer partner to host an annual Bulldgog Spirit Squad each fall. The squad is for future cheer and pom squad members in grades kindergarten-8th grade. Participants attend clinics throughout the week to learn choreography and sideline cheers. Spirit Squad members cheer along Varsity Cheerleaders during the first half of a Varsity football game and perform a dance at halftime with the Poms. We have a lot of fun and look forward to hosting another Bulldog Spirit Squad!

When Covid-19 happened, team members wanted to give back to their community and show their support. Here are just a few ways WCHS Team Members have helped their community over the past few months.
All Masked Up
Rising Senior Dylan E. is making masks. For every two masks purchased, one will be donated to Healthcare workers

WCHS Friends For All
Rising Senior Brooke G. is using her club, WCHS Friends 4 All, to raise money to help the Manna Food center provide meals for Marylanders who need during these unprecedented times.
Feeding the Frontlines
Rising Senior Isabella C. is raising money to donate meals to the healthcare workers at Johns Hopkins and Suburban Hospitals
Tutoring in the Q
Rising Junior Sofia H. is one of 3 founders of a non-profit organization that is designed to help tutor kids ages K-8 in all subjects.
At Home Dance
Rising Senior Samantha L. offers virtual dance class for children ages 4 – 7 in a home setting. Provided as a community service, At Home Dance classes are offered at no cost. Children of healthcare and essential workers are afforded priority in the event demand exceeds availability.
