Whether you are new to TPMS, returning as a 7th grader, or going into your final year, welcome to the 25-26 School year!
While the kids were relaxing or going to camp, we at TPMS were hard at work making improvements to our school and school program.
The biggest change, of course, is our new bell schedule. Instead of an 8 period block schedule, we have transitioned into a 7 period daily schedule which means more, and more frequent, instruction.
As a magnet program, in addition to continuing to provide clear and rigorous instruction, the teachers are also working on some exciting enhancements to the magnet program in and out of the classroom. In each upcoming Magnet Update, you will read about the exciting things happening in Magnet Math, Science, and Computer Science!
Our Magnet families are also hard at work creating new ways for magnet families to connect with one another and to the entire school. This year, the TPMS Parent-Teacher-Student-Association (PTSA) has created a "Magnet Connections" Committee with an aim to help connect magnet families to one another and to the rest of the school. Already the committee has started working on plans to assist families with transportation issues, to create new social opportunities, and to utilize our parent-community to enrich our afterschool activities.
If you haven't yet, please join the PTSA at https://www.tpmspta.org/testmembership/ and indicate your desire to join the Magnet connections committee by clicking HERE.
Our slogan this year is "Synthesize Inspiration". We are so excited to have you with us.
