    • Equity & Excellence in Education Program: This 15-credit graduate certificate program focuses on fostering equity in education. Participants explore critical race theory, cultural impacts on curriculum, and strategies to promote success for all students, while also conducting action research on cultural proficiency.

• Montgomery College (MC), Culturally Responsive Educators Aspiring for Teaching Excellence (CREATE): Open to MCPS support professionals in permanent positions. Members of the cohort earn an associate of arts in teaching. MC will help employees develop a plan to graduate and transfer to partner universities to complete the bachelor’s degree required to become a certified teacher.
