reachHIRE 2023 Summer Program
reachHIRE is one of our signature summer programs at ACES for all those that finish 11th grade and will be entering 12th grade. Throughout the week, you will participate in career exploration activities and workshops that develop skills such as communication, professionalism, and critical thinking.
Springbrook students are expected to attend reachHIRE 2023 from June 20-23, 2023.
This year, the program will be hybrid: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday (June 20, 21, 23) will be VIRTUAL, and Thursday (June 22) will be IN-PERSON at the Universities at Shady Grove (USG) campus. Read more information about reachHIRE 2023 at https://bit.ly/ACESreachHIRE.

Mission Possible 2022 Summer Program
Mission Possible is an exciting summer program for newly accepted ACES Scholars and equips students with the resources and skills to plan and prepare for college. This fun and engaging experience allows our Scholars and ACES Coaches to get to know each other, while setting students up for college success. By completing Mission Possible, our Scholars will learn:
College exploration skills
Fundamental financial literacy
Effective writing techniques for their college and scholarship essays
This year, Mission Possible 2022 will be a live, in-person experience held at an MCPS high school near you from July 11-15, 2022.Â

Welcome To ACES is an orientation that provides recently accepted ACES Scholars and family members with general information about the program and specific details about ACES at Springbrook High School.

NEW: Outside of in-person & school events, the ACES Springbrook group for the Class of 2024 can sign up for our ACES group on the Band app! It can be downloaded on a smartphone, or you may use the website version.

The information submitted will allow Mr. Pineda to learn more about YOU, so that he can support your personal, professional, and academic goals as your ACES Coach these next 2 years.
