Rising 7th and 8th Graders
If you are interested in Playing or Trying Out for a Sport in Middle School below is the list of things to do over the summer.
This includes all Middle School Sports - Girls and Boys Softball, Co-Ed Cross Country, Girls and Boys Basketball, Girls and Boys Soccer.
Athletics Summer To-Do List
Doctor Signed Physical Form Completed
Get your MCPS Physical Paperwork (Form SR-8) filled out by a doctor. This paperwork is valid for 2 years, so if you are a 7th grader it will carry over for both school years. If you are a rising 8th grader, and you had a doctor sign it during 7th grade and your student played a sport or tried out for a sport at RCMS then that Paperwork should still be valid. If you are unsure feel free to reach out to the Athletics Coordinator to confirm.
Access to ParentVue
Be sure you are signed up and able to access ParentVue, as all registration for MCPS Athletics will go through ParentVue. If you have never accessed ParentVue, please reach out to the RCMS main office or an RCMS school counselor to get your access code.
