Grades K, 2, 4
The school counselor's role is to:
-listen to students - provide emotional support - help to set goals - mediate conflict
- restorative conversations - help improve relationships - be an advocate - help create a coping toolbox
- community circles - personal body safety lessons - mindfulness - referrals to outside agencies
How do we do this?
We meet with students on an individual basis, in small groups, delivering classroom lessons, and providing lunch bunches. Please note that we are not licensed to provide individual therapy. Our students may see us in the classrooms observing or participating, spending time in the lunchroom, or outside at recess. The best way for parents and guardians to reach us is by email.
KIND food bag deliveries - chat with a counselor or send us an email for more information
