The winter drum-line is a small ensemble of musicians who learn a few cadences to accompany the QO Pom's Squad during their competitions in the winter. This is a low-commitment group that reharses with Mr. Ariano and themsleves as needed. They travel with the Pom's Team during their competitions in January and February. This ensemble is made of volunteers that are gathered towards the end of the Marching Band season. Instrumentation is decided by Mr. Ariano based on the needs of the ensemble. The QO Drumline won the Best Drumline award in 2024.
