The theme of my overall sustained investigation is music genres depicted as movie posters. Meaning, music genre posters. I wanted to create pieces that illustrated our subconscious reaction to when we hear a specific genre like rap, pop, or even indie. I took everything about each genre -- rhythm, beat, lyrics, instruments, clothing -- and drew pieces that broadly illustrated them. Overall, my sustained investigation is to create a meaningful pieces that emphasized my love for music.

The theme of my sustained investigation was meant to bring to light fears and phobias people may experience without explicitly stating them. Rather than clearly photographing the fear, I wanted the viewer to interpret the fear themselves. My photos vaguely interpret fears and phobias in order to bring the viewer closer to the potential obstacles linked with their fears.
