Citing Sources
We want to avoid plagiarism. We do this by ALWAYS citing our sources. That means always giving credit to the source of the information or ideas we share from others.
If you use a book, a website, a video, or an expert to learn something, you need to give them credit. That's called attribution. Even if you paraphrase or change the words around, you still learned the information from another source. It actually makes you look more credible when you cite your sources. Authors cite their sources so their readers can also look at the source material they used.
