Summer Offerings

Program Details:

• Audience: All rising Magnet Freshmen

• Dates: June 22 – 26, 2026

• Time: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

• Location: Eastern Middle School (Note: We are hosting at Eastern this year due to the roof repairs at Blair).

• Cost: $200

Transportation: Unfortunately, MCPS does not provide transportation for summer enrichment programs. As a result, we typically help organize parent carpooling to minimize impact on families. If you are interested in carpooling for the week, please fill out this google form to be contacted:

Program Details: 

• AUDIENCE: Students entering county-wide magnet programs who are currently taking Algebra I in grade 8

• WHEN:     July 7 - August 6 (with option to begin early on Monday, June 29th 2026)

• FORMAT: Online course.  Majority of instruction will be asynchronous.  There will be one live meeting on June 29 (for those beginning early) and July 7, and then a live weekly meeting every Wednesday morning.

Teacher will hold office hours daily.

• COST:   $728.50 (reduced fees are available for families with income under $59,478.  Email for more

             information)
