Students must complete the following courses in order to earn a magnet certificate at the end of high school:
Math: Complete through Magnet Analysis 1A/B (or AP Calculus upon administrative approval)
Science: Advanced Science 1, 2, 3, and 4 (Physics, Chemistry, Biology A/B, Earth Space Systems)
Computer Science: Fundamentals of Computer Science A/B + Algorithms & Data Structures A/B or Fundamentals of CS A, Algoritms & Data Structures A/B + Analysis of Algorithms
Engineering: Research & Experiementation A/B + Foundations of Engineering Technology A/B
4.5 of Magnet Elective Credits during grades 11 & 12
