academies

The mission of the Academy Program at Montgomery Blair High School is to enhance the high school experience by providing unique electives and events that allow students to explore their career interests.

For information about all the academies please visit the Montgomery Blair High School Academies website, or contact Mrs. Beth S. Sanchez, Academies Coordinator.

International studies and Law

Many Social Studies electives align with a certificate in the International Studies and Law Academy. The International Studies strand offers courses and experiences designed to help students grow as “global citizens” well versed in political systems, languages, cultures and economies of nations around the world. The Justice, Law and Society strand is designed for those students who wish to study and work in the many fields where knowledge of legal systems is required.

If you have any questions about the ISL academy, please contact Lead Teacher, Ms. Robyn. N. Gopin.
