Janine Jackson, School Counselor

Our School Counselor helps students develop knowledge and skills in the areas of academics, careers, personal development, interpersonal development, health, social and emotional well-being that are age and grade appropriate. 

Counseling services include Classroom lessons, Small Group lessons, and Individual short-term counseling. 

The School Counselor collaborates with administrators, school staff, PPW, parents, and community service providers.

Our PPW collaborates with administrators, parents, counselors, and teachers. He uses his knowledge of MCPS programs and community resources to advocate for children, consult with school staff and parents on a variety of issues, and refer families to community service providers.
