Debate Team

Meets Wednesdays and Thursdays during lunch in room C121 and once a month at Blair High School in the evening
Public Forum (PF) is one of the most exciting and fast-paced events in debate—and one of the best ways for new students to jump in. In PF, students team up in pairs to debate both sides of a timely, current-events topic. Since topics rotate often, every round feels fresh and keeps debaters on their toes!
Indigenous Peoples Club

Meeting time:
To recognize indigenous people, show non-native people cultures, share our experiences, share food, make a change in our history classes.
Jewish Student Association

A welcoming space for all students to learn about Jewish culture, values, and traditions. A space to celebrate Jewish holidays and also advocate for issues surrounding the greater Jewish community.
Minority Scholars Program

The Minority Scholars Program is a student led, student based, and student driven program aimed at closing the opportunity gap.
Mock Trial

Mock Trial is a competition in which students simulate a real trial. The trial concerns a case that remains the same through the entire academic year. The case is entirely fictional. Competitions are at the Rockville courthouse in January; you must be available for competitions to be on the team. Contact Mr. Fiol for the schedule.

Model UN is a simulation of the UN General Assembly and its other multilateral bodies where students perform an ambassador role while debating topics such as gender equality, climate action, global health, and more.
