First, you must review the Information below to make sure Stage Crew is something you can commit to:
Types of Stage Crew Jobs:
Costume Crew–Design and create costumes for actors to wear. Will organize and maintain costumes throughout rehearsals and performances. Will assist actors with putting on costumes and makeup as well as doing hair during performances.
Light Crew–Operate spot lights and stage lights during rehearsals and performances.
Props Crew–Design and create props for actors to use. Will organize and maintain props throughout rehearsals and performances.
Running Crew–Move set pieces on and off during rehearsals and performances. A running crew member will also operate the stage curtains during rehearsals and performances.
Scenery Crew–Will design and paint periaktoi and set pieces.
Sound Crew–Maintain actors’ body microphones and assist with passing microphones between actors during rehearsals and performances.
Job Scheduling Requirements:
Costume Crew–Needs to be available most Tuesdays and Thursdays starting in December. Needs to be available for tech and performances.
Light Crew–Needs to be available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays starting February 18th. Needs to be available for tech and performances.
Props Crew–Needs to be available most Tuesdays and Thursdays starting in December. Needs to be available for tech and performances.
Running Crew–Needs to be available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays starting February 18th. Needs to be available for tech and performances.
Scenery Crew–Needs to be available most Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays starting in December. Does not need to be available for tech and performances.
Sound Crew–Needs to be available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays starting February 18th. Needs to be available for tech and performances.
Regular Schedule:
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday rehearsals go from 3:15-4:30.
Tech Schedule:
Monday, March 2 3:15-5:30
Tuesday, March 3 3:15-5:30
Wednesday, March 4 3:15-5:30
Thursday. March 5 3:15-5:30
Monday, March 9 3:15-7:30
Tuesday, March 10 3:15-7:30
Wednesday, March 11 3:15-7:30
Performances:
Thursday, March 12 3:15-8:00
Friday, March 13 3:15-8:00
