The mission of the World Languages Department at Gaithersburg High School is to support all students in acquiring and developing language skills, broadening their cultural understanding, and celebrating the inclusion resulting from developing a greater appreciation for others through studying language and culture.

How We Do It
We accomplish our mission by offering language courses in Spanish and French. In addition, we offer extracurricular activities, such as foreign language clubs and honor societies, which provide students with opportunities to practice their language skills and learn more about different cultures.
