2025 School year updates:
Counseling lessons are made up of Peace of Mind, Character Cats traits of the month, responsive needs based on student/teacher referrals. Check out Counseling @ BES for more details about each grade level counseling lesson.
PAWS our the school wide positive reinforcement system I brought to Bannockburn. Each week PAWS from each class are collected and on Monday one winner from each class receives a prize/photo/certificate.
Career Day is coming up in Spring! Please consider volunteering your time (or recruiting a friend with a cool job too).
Therapy dog Fridays have been a huge hit! We continue to enjoy time with a variety of furry, four pawed visitors to include: Hershey, Illy, Pearl, Virgil, Lilly, Koda and more...feel free to reach out to me with any questions about this gift of time and fuzzy love.
Hi! I'm Jenny Fleming and I am SO excited to join the Bannockburn Bobcat community for my second year!
I've been a school counselor at Burning Tree Elementary (just down the road) for the past 5 years. As an MCPS graduate myself, it's a blast to keep fostering the next generation.
When I'm not at school, I'm sometimes working as a therapist in a local private practice or going on adventures with my dog. Stay tuned you'll hear lots about him.
