All creators of content (e.g., books, music, websites, etc.) have legal protection in the form of copyright. Students and teachers need to be aware of their rights and responsibilities when creating and sharing their own content and when using and adapting the content created by others. The school community must use resources ethically and responsibly in accordance to copyright and fair use guidelines. School library staff provide instruction to students and professional learning to school staff about ethical use and copyright and are available to answer questions and provide support as needed.

Ms. Chuk will support you with correctly citing your sources as you gather resources to meet your information needs.
