4th Grade Team

This is my 21st year teaching 4th grade and I serve as the fourth grade team leader. I am an MCPS graduate and graduated from Wootton. I studied Elementary Education at Indiana University and went on to earn my Masters degree in Mathematical Education from University of Maryland. My husband and I have been married for 16 years and have a daughter in 4th grade (Maya) and a son in 7th grade (Dylan). I have a rescue dog named Henry. He is a black lab mix! Fun fact about me is: I have worked with Mrs. Weaver for 19 years!

This is my 14th year teacher and 13th year at Ashburton! I have taught both 5th grade and 4th grade. I am an MCPS graduate and a mom to Mackenzie (3) and a baby boy on the way! Fun fact about me is: I am a partial owner of the Green Bay Packers...Go Pack!

This is my 19th year teaching at Ashburton. It's changed a lot but I look just the same ;-). My own three children are Ashburton Alums as well. In my spare time I like to play outside, garden and travel.

This is my 13th year teaching and first at Ashburton. I previously taught in 3rd, 5th and 7th grade. I am a product of MCPS and graduated from nearby Walter Johnson High School before continuing my education at both Dickinson College and Johns Hopkins University. My wife Hana and I have been married for 16 years and have three amazing children - Kyle (10), Layna (6) and Ara (1). In my free time I like to read books, play sports and go fishing.

I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I am from Baltimore, Maryland (go Ravens!) and have two siblings. My favorite subject is Math and I love salty snacks! I have a golden retriever named Duke and a yellow lab named Buddy!

This is my first year at Ashburton Elementary School. I am originally from China and I moved to Maryland when I was in high school. I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I have one younger brother who is working on earning his bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland! (Go Terps! ☺️) In my free time, I like to spend time with my family and friends, enjoy outside and travel.

Hello! This is my 3rd year at Ashburton Elementary School, but my 12th year in education. I am originally from Kentucky, where I taught for several years. I have taught both general education and special education. My husband, Paul, & I have been married for 17 years. We have three beautiful children - Nolin (age 11), Harris (age 9) & Josephine (age 6). We also have a Bernedoodle (Bailey), a Havapoo (Colby), and a hamster (Teddy).

Hello! I have been at Ashburton for about 20 years and working here for 17 years. My two children are Ashburton Alumnis too. I believe, I spent more of my time here at Ashburton than my house :-) I am originally from Turkey and living here in USA for 30 years.
