Community Eligibility Provision for school year 2022-23
We are pleased to inform you that Middlesex County Public Schools (MCPS) will be participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the school year 2022-2023. Great news for you and your students! All enrolled students of Middlesex County Public are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to your household each day of the 2021-2022 school year. No further action is required of you. Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit a meal application. The U.S Department of Agriculture (USDA) is allowing school divisions to operate the Seamless Summer Option to continue to provide healthy and nutritious meals and/or snacks at no charge to all students.

Each Middlesex County school participates in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program in order to serve nutritious meals to students at the least possible cost. Menus, which meet the federal nutrition standards for school- aged children, are provided to each student at the beginning of every month and are maintained on our division’s website.
MCPS is implementing the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the 2022-2023 School Year. Middlesex County Public Schools now offers families the option to pay for additional breakfast, lunch or snacks online. This service is being offered through MySchoolBucks at myschoolbucks.com. MySchoolBucks accepts payments using Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. This service also provides parents access to their child’s account balance and participation in the school system’s food service program.
