Join us in Merced for the Newcomer Network Conference 2026, a two-day gathering dedicated to strengthening systems, practices, and leadership that support Newcomer Students. Taking place Thursday, October 8 through Friday, October 9, 2026, this conference brings together educators, administrators, counselors, and partners committed to equitable and inclusive learning environments for newcomers.
Centered on the theme “Building Strong Roots for Multilingual Newcomer Learning,” the conference will highlight research-based and promising practices, elevate practitioner and district voices, and explore how collaborative systems can be strengthened to better serve newcomer students and families. Sessions will also focus on equitable leadership, shared accountability, and sustainable supports across schools and districts.
Whether you work directly with newcomer students or lead systems that shape their educational experiences, the Newcomer Network Conference 2026 offers a valuable opportunity to learn, reflect, and grow alongside colleagues from across the region.
We look forward to welcoming you to Merced this October as we build strong roots—together.
