These staff members are here for you to talk to about a variety of issues including the following:
Academic Matters - Such as your grades, class schedules, or your path to graduation
Social Emotional Issues - Say you're having a bad day or something is going on at home and you need to talk someone, your counselors and student advocates are here to listen. Topics we can discuss with you range from anxiety, depression, self-esteem development, making friends, experiencing grief, and a wide variety of other things. We're here to support you with whatever you need to talk through.
Conflict Resolution - We'll help you work through conflict as it comes up, whether with another student, a parent or a teacher. We'll help you come to a solution that works for everyone.
Coping Skills - We work with you to develop coping strategies to deal with your emotions and the situations you face in a healthy way.
