At Mull Community Native Tree Nursery (MCNTN), we believe in the power of planting today for tomorrow’s forests. We aim to conserve, restore and re-establish native woodlands, plants and all forms of wildlife and thereby to secure and enhance the enjoyment of the public of the natural environment.
We meet every Saturday morning from 10:30 at the nursery. We spend a couple of hours planting, sorting and tending to the trees. There are normally biscuits! If you are interested, please contact us (details below) or just turn up on a Saturday morning.
Our key activities are to:
Collect native tree seeds from local provenance sources and grow them on into young trees for replanting on the Isle of Mull particularly, but not exclusively;
Supply young tree to other growers for planting
