Up to $80 million in financial aid goes to waste if Ohio students don’t claim it (by completing the FAFSA). Pell grants are not just for college. They can also be used at Ohio technical centers for students who want to learn welding, construction trades, public safety, culinary and information technology skills. There are many different types of scholarships including: merit-based, athletic, college/major based, national, and local. There are millions out there and no way for me to share them all with you. You will need to research for scholarships on your own as well! But please also see the list below of scholarship information that I receive on an ongoing basis.
Some are from local companies, and others are from within organizations in the school. Please take some time to review and apply for the ones you are eligible for, as every little bit of free money adds up!
Also, I am getting new scholarships on a weekly basis, so keep checking this website for newly added scholarships. Please check deadlines, as each scholarship has different requirements.
Remember, we encourage you to continue looking on outside websites, talking with parents, friends and family to find scholarship opportunities that might be available to you. I have included some outside links below if you need some help to get started
