What is College Credit Plus (CCP)?
Ohio’s College Credit Plus can help you earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking college courses from community colleges or universities. The purpose of this program is to promote rigorous academic pursuits and to provide a wide variety of options to college-ready students.
Miller City New Cleveland Local Schools offers a wide variety of college credit plus class. We have several teachers at MCNC that are teaching CCP classes right in our own building. We have students taking online CCP classes at MCNC during the school day. We also have students going to nearby college campuses to take CCP classes.
There are many requirements and deadlines with this program. We offer a College Credit Plus information night each year for parents and students to learn more. Please see Mrs. Niese for more information as well as the ODE website for CCP: http://education.ohio.gov/Topics/Ohio-Education-Options/College-Credit-Plus
