Who are we?
Founded in 1966, the Friends of the Monmouth County Library is a 100% volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting, enhancing, and promoting our libraries within the community.
Our 100+ dues-paying members help fill gaps in the library’s budget and keep our county libraries vibrant, well-equipped, and full of great programs.
The Friends:
Sponsor free events, concerts, lectures, and workshops
Donate critical supplies, furniture, and equipment
Operate the Friends of MCL Bookstore
Award a scholarship to eligible library staff
Volunteer at library events
And much more!
