FRIDAY the 17th of August, 9am-6pm.
The Run McK Relay Challenge involves students organising themselves into teams between 4 and 7 people (inclusive) and completing as many laps of the school ovals as they can (through walking/running, etc) in 9 hours, in a relay format, whilst fundraising.
This year the students are fundraising for the Monash Children's Hospital.
For more information regarding the above mentioned charity, please visit their website: https://monashchildrenshospital.org
To participate in the challenge, a $30 entrance fee is required per student. All funds raised through this go towards the Monash Children's Hospital. Although participation in the event itself is important, the main aim is to raise much needed funds for charity. It should not be forgotten that students signing up to participate in Run McK are agreeing to spend time collecting sponsorship money.
There will also be a chance for parents/guardians and McKinnon students to come and visit our event with a gold coin donation during the hours of 3:20-6pm, and are welcome to help participants setup and packup in the morning and evening.
This challenge is an exciting opportunity for students to test their perseverance, commitment, teamwork and organisational skills, whilst raising money for worthy and important causes.
