Here at Wolford Elementary, we make digital citizenship instruction a priority throughout the year. Every classroom has a poster about important elements of digital citizenship. Every student watches a video about the district's Acceptable Use Policy at the beginning of each school year. Mrs. Perret, our librarian/media resource specialist meets with all grade level classes for an age-appropriate lessons about the digital citizenship elements that are most important and relevant to what these students are likely to encounter. Monthly topics and advice are shared with all students on morning announcements. Our teachers regularly provide guidelines for using technology in the classroom.
All students watch the video above annually to learn about the district's Acceptable Use Policy.
