Teacher and Staff Apreciation
Thank you teachers and staff for all your hard work!
During this time of hybrid schooling, teachers are trying their best to make our school year as normal as possible and have been encouraging us along the way. As students, what is a better way to thank them than to write a heartfelt message! To celebrate Teacher and Staff Appreciation Day, we prepared templates of thank you cards that you can fill out for the teacher and/or staff you wanna give thanks and encouragement to!
Attached below are the thank you cards templates, and a list of the staff departments. Feel free to look through them and find the corresponding teacher and/or staff. Due date is April 23rd at 11:59PM.
If you submitted discord forms and are waiting to be enrolled, @ tag one of the Bobs/Mods in questions chat to let them know.
Black and gold Collective
If you haven't heard yet, McKinley's counseling department and student activities are partnering together to start the Black & Gold Collective (yes, sounds bougie)---an initiative to help our students engage with each other and learn something new that gets them off their computers.
Here's how it works:
-Choose a live class to participate in about something of interest to you.
(baking, stocks, photography, how to not have awkward conversations, cooking an easy meal, car basics, golf, meditation/stretching, bringing out the extrovert in introverts, becoming all you can be, crocheting, thrift store fashion, etc.)
-There are no requirements, no grades, no pressure....just relax and learn something!
-Classes would run on weekdays from 2:00 (even days)-5:30pm and on Saturdays from 1:30-4:00pm. It starts this Tuesday.
Click here to check it out and sign up!
If you were unable to see the club banners at Homecoming you can still see them online! We are hosting a voting for you favorite club banners! Voting has ended but give special applause to the clubs that participated.

To participate, submit an audition video of your awesome talent on Google Classroom and complete the form attached to the post. (All school rules still apply, and late submissions will not be considered.) You will be notified if your video is approved, and it will be compiled with other videos submitted by your peers. Auditions will be open from February 5th to the 11th. We can't wait to see your talents, Tigers
