About the Director

Todd Stellmach

Todd Stellmach has a Bachelors of Music Education degree from Illinois State University and a Masters in Music Education degree from Northwestern University. He has been teaching in the Marengo schools for 15 years, always at the high school but also at Zion Lutheran and Marengo Community Middle School. He currently serves as the band and choir directors, as well as teaches music history, AP music theory, and creating music - a class he designed as part of his Master's program specializing in digital music creation. Additionally, he is Department Chair of Foreign Language & Fine Arts, part of the School Improvement Team, sponsors the Tabletop Club, and is the current treasurer of the McHenry County Honor Band.

In his spare time, he plays video games, board games, and enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, cat and dog.
