WHAKATAUKI:
Ko te pae tawhiti arumia kia tata
Ko te pae tata whakamaua
Kia puta i te wheiao ki te ao mārama
Seek to bring the distant horizon nearer.
Grasp it firmly once near.
And so emerge from darkness into enlightenment

FUTURE STUDIES / CAREER OPTIONS
Chemistry is a prerequisite subject for many courses at Polytechnic and University for example, engineering, physical education, physiotherapy, dentistry, geology, pharmacy and medicine. The possibilities for chemistry graduates are almost infinite….. anyone who wished to follow a career in the sciences or a science related field should consider including chemistry as a part of their senior studies.
